The Conference deals with the state of the art of bioethics in Europe, namely the academic situation and specific bioethical issues rising in different areas of the continent. Under the first point of discussion, the academic sharing and perception of the discipline in different countries, ethical positions enclosed, is analyzed. Under the second one, specific bioethical issues regarding resuscitation in neonatology and withdrawing of life-sustaining means are discuss.
